Salted Caramel Macarons

So I've been wanting to make macarons for the longest time, and when Vicki came over for a baking adventure, we decided to just make some. Some googling provided us with this recipe, and after a quick trip to the store, we were ready to get started. While these didn't turn out looking like traditional macarons, they were absolutely delicious. A bit sweet for my taste, but the caramel was absolutely perfect. Props to Vicki and my sister for making it--it was their first time and the caramel turned out great!
